Who We Are and What We Stand For
Today, as a businessman, I was a professional hockey player in Europe until 2003. At twenty-one, I signed a three-year contract with the European Hockey League. I spent many years in the league, living in Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and Japan. At the age of 26, I participated in the Winter Olympics in Norway, and later in Japan in 1998. Just before retiring from hockey, the world of entrepreneurship knocked on my door, aligning perfectly with a well-thought-out career plan.
Together with my brother Richard, who was based in Quebec, we launched a faucet company named Robinetterie Royal in the Montreal area. Leveraging my travels across Europe, I capitalized on my network of contacts, my sense of design, and my entrepreneurial spirit, creating a product line and a catalog of over 175 pages with my brother. Robinetterie Royal became a manufacturer and the only company at the time to design bathrooms from A to Z on an international scale.
Later, Robinetterie Royal opened an office in Vancouver from 2008 until 2020, before relocating this production to our offices on the North Shore of Montreal during the global pandemic. Despite its challenges, this period provided an opportunity to reassess our priorities and business model. From 2023 to 2024, the company underwent a transformation: Richard departed, and new partners joined the venture. Robinetterie Royal is now known as Novvita. Still specializing in sales to plumbing professionals and to developers, builders, and contractors, Novvita enjoys a solid and proven reputation since its inception.
